The Evanston festival season begins in May but Summer really starts with the Custer Street Fair. The Fair opens on a Saturday morning and runs all weekend long. It’s usually really hot and loads of fun to walk around and people watch while gulping down some icy drink. Venders from all over the country come to sell crafts, prints, art work and knockoff sunglasses. There’s also music and a large choice of food options. Click here for more details.
